Zieliec Mały ( German  Klein Radzienen , 1938 to 1945 Kleinhügelwalde ) is a small town in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and belongs to the Gmina Wielbark (town and rural community Willenberg ) in the Powiat Szczycieński ( Ortelsburg district ).

Zieliec Mały is located in the southern center of the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship , 16 kilometers southeast of the district town of Szczytno ( German  Ortelsburg ).

In the year 1802, there were three single farms in Klein Radzienen, which is only a few hundred meters west of (Groß) Radzienen ) (in Polish: Zieliec ) . Until 1945, Klein Radzienen, which was renamed “Kleinhügelwalde” in 1938, was a residential area in the Radzienen community in the East Prussian district of Ortelsburg .

As a result of the war, the small town with all of southern East Prussia was transferred to Poland . It was given the Polish form of the name "Zieliec Mały" and is now a village within the urban and rural community of Wielbark (Willenberg) in the Powiat Szczycieński ( Ortelsburg district ).

In terms of church, Klein Radzienen / Kleinhügelwalde was parish up to 1945 both on the Protestant side and on the Roman Catholic side in Lipowitz (1933 to 1945 Lindenort , Lipowiec in Polish ). For the Catholics there is still a connection to the parish in Lipowiec, while the Protestant residents orientate themselves towards the church in Szczytno (Ortelsburg) .

Targetsiec Mały can be reached from Targetsiec by land. There is no rail connection.
