Sinaida Stahurskaya

Zinaida Vladimirovna Stahurskaja ( Russian Зинаида Владимировна Стагурская * 9. February 1971 in Vitebsk , † 25 June 2009 ibid) was a Belarusian cyclist .

Sinaida Stahurskaja won the road race title at the UCI Road World Championships in 2000 in Plouay, France . In the same year she won the overall ranking of the Giro della Toscana ; In 2002 she finished second in this stage race as well as in the Giro d'Italia Feminile . Also in 2002 she was able to win the Grande Boucle Féminine . In addition, she recorded numerous stage victories in tours for herself.

Stahurskaya also took part in road races at the Olympic Games three times, in 1992 , 1996 and 2004 , but could not take any top places.
