Zirndorf is a district of the Wieseth community in the Ansbach district ( Middle Franconia ).

geography

The village lies on the Hechelbach , which is a left tributary of the Wieseth , and is surrounded by arable land and grassland. In the southeast the field is called Birkenbusch, in the west Espan and in the northwest Bodenfeld. The district road AN 52 leads past Oberschönbronn to Böckau (1.8 km west) or to state road 2248 (0.7 km east). A community road leads to Limbach (0.8 km north).

history

Zirndorf was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . In 1732 the place consisted of 5 properties. The Herrieden caste office in Eichstätt held rulership of the village and community and the land rulership over all properties . From 1797 to 1808 the place belonged to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen . The number of properties remained unchanged. They were under the Eichstätt monastery until 1803.

With the community edict (early 19th century), Zirndorf was assigned to the tax district Gräbenzüge and the rural community Oberschönbronn . In the course of the regional reform in Bavaria , this was dissolved on January 1, 1972 and Zirndorf was incorporated into Wieseth.
