history

From the place-name broadcast - winds , one can conclude that the place is one of the Wendish settlements that were planned by the authorities in large numbers in the Middle Ages. The settlement to the east, which was later to be called Sickersdorf , was originally referred to as trench winds . The place was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . Basic Stately claims had the collegiate Herrieden , the Bishopric of Eichstätt and the Monastery Sulz . In 1732 Träbenwinde consisted of 9 properties west of the Aurach (1 courtyard, 1 half courtyard, 7 small farms). There was also a Streifer apartment and a shepherd's house. The village and community rulership was held by the now Ansbach monastery administrator in Sulz , which was also the sole landlord of all properties. After 1790 there was also a subject of the Eichstättischen Stiftskapitel Herrieden . From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen .

With the community edict (early 19th century), the tax district Gräbenwinds was formed, to which the places Aichau , Ammonschönbronn , Beckenmühle , Böckau , Deffersdorf , Häuslingen , Lattenbuch , Limbach , Lölldorf , Mittelschönbronn , Oberschönbronn , Schlötzenmühle , Sickersdorf and Zirndorf belonged. A little later, Träben winds were assigned to the newly formed rural community of Elbersroth . On July 1, 1971, this was incorporated into Herrieden as part of the regional reform .
