Altmühle is a residential area in the city of Herrieden in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The former wasteland now consists of four residential buildings and four outbuildings, which are now part of Neunstetten as the municipal path An der Altmühl . The national road 1066 goes according Neunstetten (0.3 km northeast) or the junction 50 of the motorway 6 (1.4 km southwest). history

The place was in the Fraisch district of the Eichstättischen Oberamt Wahrberg-Herrieden . From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach . The mill was given house no. 1 1 ⁄ 2 in Neunstetten.

As part of the municipal edict, the Altmühle was assigned to the Neunstetten tax district formed in 1808 . She also belonged to the rural community of Neunstetten , which was founded a little later . The place is only mentioned in two indexes of the year 1814 and 1818. In 1818 there were 3 families with a total of 11 people who lived in two properties.

On January 1, 1972, Altmühle was incorporated into Herrieden as part of the regional reform .
