Second Salisbury Administration

Robert Gascoyne-Cecil, 3rd Marquess of Salisbury, served as Prime Minister for the second time between 1886 and 1892

The Salisbury II cabinet was formed in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland on August 3, 1886 by Prime Minister Robert Gascoyne-Cecil, 3rd Marquess of Salisbury of the Conservative Party , replacing the Gladstone III cabinet . It was in office until August 15, 1892, when it was replaced by the Gladstone IV cabinet .
