William Ewart Gladstone was Prime Minister for the third time between February and July 1886

The Gladstone III cabinet was formed in the United Kingdom on February 1, 1886 by Prime Minister William Ewart Gladstone of the Liberal Party , replacing the Salisbury I cabinet . The third Gladstone cabinet remained in office until July 25, 1886, when it was replaced by the second Salisbury government.
