Outstanding Artist Award for Film
The Outstanding Artist Award for film is one of the state prizes of the Republic of Austria , has been awarded annually by the Federal Ministry for Education, Art and Culture since 2010 and is currently endowed with € 10,000.
The prize is awarded for exceptional work by young filmmakers. It replaces the Austrian Advancement Award for Film Art , which existed from 1979 to 2009 and was most recently endowed with € 7,300 . Besides being since 2010 Austrian Art Prize for film awarded the existing until 2009 Austrian Prize for film replacement.
