The 500 km race of Dijon 1976 , also 500 km of the ACF Dijon-Prenois , took place on September 5 at the Circuit de Dijon-Prenois and was the 13th round of the sports car world championship of that year.

The race

In 1976, two races were held within 24 hours of the World Sports Car Championship. On Saturday, September 4th, the silhouette vehicles of groups 5 and 4 contested their race. After 6 hours travel time won Jacky Ickx and Jochen Mass in work - Porsche 935 .

The next day, the race was Group 6 - sports cars held. Jacky Ickx won again with team-mate Jochen Mass, this time in a Porsche 936 .
