Peter Bernhard
Peter Bernhard (born November 11, 1943 in Winterthur ) is a former Swiss racing driver .
Racing career
Peter Bernhard drove national and international sports car races in the 1970s . He was active in the German racing championship and from 1976 in the sports car world championship . As a partner of Eugen Strähl , he finished second overall in the 500 km race in Pergusa in a Sauber C5 in 1977 . His only outing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans is from the same year . It had its last start at the 6-hour race in Vallelunga in 1980 . Together with Angelo Pallavicini , he crossed the finish line in a Porsche 934 in eleventh place in the final classification.
