Daniel Brillat
Daniel Brillat (born July 27, 1945 in Vieu ) is a former French racing driver .
Racing career
Daniel Brillat was active in sports car racing in the 1970s . He had his first international start at the Tour de France for automobiles in 1969 , where he finished 37th overall on a Renault R8 . He competed in the World Sports Car Championship and the European Touring Car Championship . He contested the Le Mans 24-hour race four times . He made his debut in 1974 . He achieved his best result a year later when he and Giancarlo Gagliardi and Michel Degoumois finished 27th in the final ranking in a BMW 2002 TI and won the touring car class.
