Jean-Pierre Aeschlimann

Jean-Pierre Aeschlimann (born July 10, 1935 in Bern ) is a former Swiss automobile racing driver .

Racing career

Jean-Pierre Aeschlimann began his career in 1966 as a mountain racing driver . In the early 1970s, he switched to circuit racing and competed in the sports car world championship . His best place in this racing series was fourth overall in the 1979 Pergusa 6 Hours .

He competed four times in the Le Mans 24-hour race . He made his debut in 1973 and achieved his best overall ranking with 17th place in 1975 .
