The Bordeaux ATP tournament (officially Grand Prix Passing Shot ) is a former men's tennis tournament that was held in Bordeaux , France from 1979 to 1995 . In the course of time the surface changed: until 1990 it was played on clay courts, from 1991 until the end of the tournament (except in 1992) it was played on outdoor hard courts. The venue was the Villa Primrose . The tournament was part of the ATP World Series , the predecessor series of the ATP World Tour 250 . Since 2008 the tournament has been held again under the name BNP Paribas Primrose Bordeaux as part of the ATP Challenger Tour .

Guy Forget is the only player who could win the tournament more than once, he is also the last French player to win the tournament. Forget is also a record winner in doubles with two titles - together with Andrés Gómez , Sergio Casal , Emilio Sánchez and Tomás Carbonell .
