history

With the Edict of Nantes since 1598, a Protestant church was allowed to be built in Ablon, which the Parisian Huguenots attended until the edict was repealed in 1685.

In its history, the community lived almost continuously from the proximity to the Seine, on the one hand through trade and shipping, on the other hand through agriculture. In the middle of the 20th century, in the course of suburbanization, it developed into a residential community , which is dominated by single-family houses ( pavilions ).
