The Adlerschanzen Schönwald in Schönwald in the Black Forest consist of three small ski jumps of category K 10, K 20, K 40 and one normal hill of category K 85. Except for the K 85 hill, all are covered with plastic mattings.

history

The first ski jumping hill was inaugurated on February 17, 1924 at the Halde in Schönwald . Over the years the first Adlerschanze has been rebuilt and improved several times. Today's K 85 normal hill was built in 1967. The opening competition took place on March 17, 1968. Since 1971 , the Black Forest Jumper Tour has been held on the hill every year, together with the Adlerschanzen Hinterzarten (until 1977) and then on the Hochfirstschanze in Titisee-Neustadt .

The Continental Cup competition took place on the Adlerschanze from 1994 to 2002 . The women's Continental Cup was held on this hill from 2005 to 2008. In summer 2008 the Ski Club Schönwald decided to close the Adlerschanze K 85 for cost reasons. The K 10, K 20 and K 40 hills will continue to be used.
