Aichen is a deserted area in the municipality of Gerhardshofen in the district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim in Middle Franconia .

geography

The Altenbuchbach, which is a right tributary of the Aisch , flowed immediately south of the former wasteland . To the south of the village was the Aigen forest and to the east the Plattenfeld.

history

Towards the end of the 18th century there was a property in Aichen. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth caste and jurisdiction office Dachsbach . At the same time, the Dachsbach caste and jurisdiction office was the landlord of the sheep farm.

As part of the municipal edict, Aichen was assigned to the Diespeck tax district formed in 1811, and from 1813 it belonged to the rural community of Dettendorf . With the second community edict (1818) it was assigned to the newly formed rural community Göttelhöf . In 1877 the property was demolished.

The place has been Evangelical Lutheran since the Reformation . The residents of the Evangelical Lutheran denomination were parish to St. Peter (Gerhardshofen) .
