Vahlenmühle is a district of the Gerhardshofen community in the Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim district in Middle Franconia .
geography
The wasteland lies on the Altenbuchbach, which was originally called Vahlenbach from the place name, a right tributary of the Aisch . Immediately to the west is the Auf der Höhe corridor , immediately to the south are the Gährleiten ponds , and in the northeast the Ehrlbach ponds . Approx. The Mühlberg ( 340 m above sea level ) rises 0.5 km to the southeast . A service road leads to Forst (0.8 km north).
history
The place was first mentioned in a document in 1303/17 in the fief book of the Hochstift Würzburg as "Valenbrunn". According to the place name, the place originally consisted of several courtyards.
Towards the end of the 18th century there was an estate in Vahlenmühle. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth caste and jurisdiction office Dachsbach . The property was owned by the Brandenburg-Bayreuth administration Birnbaum as the landlord .
As part of the community edict, Vahlenmühle was assigned to the Dachsbach tax district formed in 1811, and from 1813 it belonged to the Gerhardshofen rural community .

The place has been Evangelical Lutheran since the Reformation. The inhabitants of the Evangelical Lutheran denomination are parish to St. Peter (Gerhardshofen) .
