Allan Richard Michaelsen (born November 2, 1947 in Copenhagen , † March 2, 2016 ) was a Danish football player and football coach .
Career
Michaelsen began his career at what was then the Danish top club B 1903 Copenhagen . After he not only won the Danish championship with the club in 1969, but also received the award as Danish footballer of the year, he moved abroad. Michaelsen first played for FC Nantes in France from 1969 to 1972 , and in 1972 he joined the German Bundesliga club Eintracht Braunschweig . Even after the interim relegation in 1973, he stayed in Braunschweig and, as a regular player during the 1973/74 regional league season, contributed significantly to the rise of Eintracht. After promotion, however, he left the club and subsequently played for FC Chiasso in Switzerland , before ending his career as a player-coach at the Danish club Svendborg fB from 1979 to 1981 .
Michaelsen was a total of eight times in the national football team of Denmark , and he scored one goal.
After the end of his playing career, Michaelsen worked as a football coach in his home country.
