Office Alfeld (Leine)

The Alfeld (Leine) office was a historical administrative area of ​​the Kingdom of Hanover and the Prussian Province of Hanover . The Landdrostei Hildesheim has been the higher administrative level since 1823 .

history

The Alfeld office was formed in 1836 as part of the separation of the Bilderlahe office from the previous Winzenburg office and became the immediate successor to the Winzenburg office. The city of Alfeld (Leine) and some villages from patrimonial courts were also included . In 1852 the city of Alfeld was spun off again, but the communities Rott and Hoyershausen were added from the Lauenstein office . In 1854 Grafelde came from the Bilderlahe office to Alfeld, and in 1859 the Lamspringe office (the former Bilderlahe office) was added. Brüggen (Leine) , Sibbesse and Petze went to the Office of Gronau (Leine). In 1885 the district constitution was introduced.
