He is currently the office manager of Udo Pastörs and city representative in Lübenheen . His many years of involvement in the neo-Nazi scene and several criminal proceedings made him known nationwide.

Life

Theißen was from 1992 to 1994 functionary ("Unterführer") of the neo-Nazi Wiking youth, which has since been banned . He took part in events in the Lüneburg Heath and maintained contacts with the Nationalist Front , according to the federal government's application for a ban on the NPD in 2001 . In the 1990s he belonged to a military sports group around Gerd Ulrich . For violating the Explosives Act , he was sentenced in 1999 by the Hagenow District Court to a prison sentence of 15 months on probation.

With his family active in the scene, he was in contact with the neo-Nazi association Heimattreue Deutsche Jugend (HDJ), which has now been banned, and organized camps there . The ethnic- national upbringing of children in this region generated national media interest. After years of research into Theissen's involvement in the HDJ, Röpke determined that they wanted to train the cadres of tomorrow with their "nationalist, anti-democratic training [...] training." According to the historian Sandra Pingel-Schliemann and the social worker Karl-Georg Ohse (2006) says Theißen is a "nationwide known neo-Nazi []".

In 2008, Theißen was sentenced to a fine of 1,000 euros by the Schwerin District Court for bodily harm and coercion - he attacked an NDR cameraman as a member of the security service. The appeal before the Schwerin Regional Court was rejected in 2009. At times Theißen was deputy head of the party's federal security service under Manfred Börm . He has repeatedly joined demonstrations , some of which are mentioned in reports on the protection of the constitution , for example together with Jürgen Gansel , René Despang and Udo Pastörs in the spontaneous demonstration "Arbitrariness by police and justice" of the Young National Democrats (JN).

Theißen has been involved in election campaigns in the past. a. the state election in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in 2006 in the Parchim II constituency (5.8 percent of the first votes) and in 2011 in the Ludwigslust III constituency (6.2 percent of the first votes). He is considered a companion of the NPD functionaries Udo Pastörs and Stefan Köster ; he was NPD district chairman West Mecklenburg and is employed constituency office manager of Udo Pastörs, the parliamentary group leader of the NPD in the state parliament Mecklenburg-Vorpommern , in Lübenheen . In the local elections in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in 2009 , he was elected to the city council of Lübenheen. In 2014 he was able to secure a place again, since then has acted as chairman of the two-person parliamentary group (with the wife of Pastörs) and is represented on several committees. He is considered an example of the party's new “ carer ” image.

He was one of the initiators of the Pegida offshoot MVgida, which is now being monitored by the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Office for the Protection of the Constitution . In the state elections in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in 2016 , he is running on the 6th list of his party.
