Angles is a French municipality with 68 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It belongs to the canton of Castellane in the arrondissement of Castellane .
geography
The westernmost point of the municipal marker is touched by the Lac de Castillon reservoir at 879 m . This contains a bay there, accommodates the 5.6 km long Torrent d'Angles and is traversed by the Verdon . At the bay, the departmental road D33 branches off from Route nationale 202 and passes the village center to the right of the Torrent. The highest points of Angles are the mountain ridges Baisse d'Angles ( 1577 m ) and Serre Gros ( 1778 m ). The neighboring communities are

- Saint-Julien-du-Verdon in the southwest,
