The Arzberg nature reserve is located in the Wartburg district in Thuringia . It extends northwest of Otzbach , a district of Geisa , around the 573 meter high Arzberg . The state road L 1026 runs east of the area and the L 2601 to the south. The Wiedenbach flows to the west and the Binz to the north.

The 114.2 ha area with the NSG no. 90 was placed under nature protection in 1961.
