Karrenwiesen Nature Reserve (March 2009)

The Karrenwiesen nature reserve is located in the Wartburg district in Thuringia . It extends northeast of the core town of Leimbach along the Werra . District road  97 runs along the northern edge of the area, state road  2895 runs northeast and southeast and B 62 runs southwest .

The 37.2  ha area with the NSG no. 225 was placed under nature protection in 2005.
