The Dolinen slopes nature reserve is located in the Wartburg district in Thuringia . It extends northwest of Frauensee , a district of the city of Bad Salzungen . The state road L 1022 runs to the west of the area and the B 64 to the east .

The 65.4 ha area with the NSG no. 30 was placed under nature protection in 1961.
