The Aston Martin DB10 is a sports car produced by the British car manufacturer Aston Martin . The coupé was specially built for the 24th James Bond film Specter .

history

Rear view

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the cooperation between Aston Martin and Eon Productions , it was decided to manufacture a new sports car. Thus, the DB10 continues the long tradition that began in 1964 with the DB5 in the movie Goldfinger . The vehicle was presented to the public on December 4th 2014 at Pinewood Studios in London .

The sports car was handcrafted with an edition of ten copies. Eight cars served as film vehicles, the remaining two were used for PR purposes .

One was given a plaque signed by Daniel Craig and auctioned off at Christie's on February 18, 2016 . The proceeds of £ 2,434,500  (approx. 3,142,000 ) will benefit the aid organization Doctors Without Borders .

The DB10 is based on the internal VH platform , but has a longer wheelbase, which is almost the same as that of the One-77 . He is with the 4.7-liter V8 engine with 321 kW (436 hp) from the V8 Vantage S equipped.
