The Autosport GmbH Switzerland ( French. : Auto Sport Suisse SARL / ital. : Autosport Svizzera SARL ) is the top motor sport association of Switzerland and has the sporting power for the motor sport .

The ASS represents national interests in the world federation FIA and has the status of an ASN ( French : Autorité Sportive Nationale , holder of national sports sovereignty) at the FIA . Accordingly, Auto Sport Schweiz is responsible for implementing and monitoring international regulations and for issuing licenses (currently 3000). It is authorized to issue international FIA licenses for your national licensees. The organization is also a member of the Swiss Olympic Association .

tasks

The ASS and its committees and colleges organize the national championships, the national track approvals and the national event calendar. The ASS is also responsible for the regulations, their monitoring and the associated sports jurisdiction.

The ASS and its examination commission are also responsible for training the sports officers (e.g. the sports commissioners).
