The Bon Secours Wellness Arena (previously Bi-Lo Center ) is a multi-purpose hall in the US city ​​of Greenville in the state of South Carolina . The hall offers 15,951 seats. The arena is owned and operated by the Greenville Arena District.

history

The arena was from 7 March 1996 until its opening on September 3, 1998 by Geiger Engineers PC and Fluor Daniel for 63 million US dollars built. The architects Odell Associates and AMI Associates designed the entire building. The hall is mainly used for ice hockey , arena football and basketball . The hall is the home venue of the Greenville Swamp Rabbits ice hockey club , which has been playing in the ECHL since the 2010/11 season . But also concerts by nationally and internationally known artists and bands such as Eric Clapton , Kenny Chesney , Elton John , Alice Cooper , Cher , Francesca Battistelli , Reba McEntire , Tim McGraw & Faith Hill , Keith Urban , Martina McBride , George Strait , KISS , Eagles , Poison , Trans-Siberian Orchestra , Lady Antebellum , Meghan Trainor , Styx and REO Speedwagon took place here.
