Barbara Zanetti

Barbara Zanetti (born July 28, 1974 in Bozen ) is an Italian singer and songwriter from South Tyrol .

Life

Zanetti grew up in Kaltern . Her musical development began at the Institute for Music Education in the subjects of recorder , singing , classical guitar and zither . She graduated from the Robert Gasteiger commercial college.

Artistic beginnings

From 1992 to 1995 Zanetti was the lead singer of the West Coast group Westbound , performing in Italy, Switzerland, Spain and Austria. From 1994 to 1996 she made guest appearances in the musical production of the Vereinigte Bühnen Bozen in the play Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat , the theater production Der Bauer als Millionär and the Threepenny Opera in the production of the theater in the old town of Meran, as well as at the Easter plays by Muri-Gries . 1994-1996 she was a presenter at the Classik rock station Radio C .

education

From 1994 to 1998 Zanetti did her vocal training with James Moore in Vienna, received lessons for voice and body training from the Viennese singer Miriam Papst and attended interpretation seminars through vocal body training under the direction of Kurt Widmer .

In 1996/1997 she trained as a tour guide and tourist guide in Innsbruck . In 2000/2001 Zanetti attended the Bruneck Theater School .

Career

Concerts with the cast of the acoustic trio Carpe dieM and the pop duo The Sett with performances as part of the Hahnenkamm race at the Stangelwirt Weißwurstparty , charity night concert at the Tennis ATP Tour in Kitzbühel, at the ZDF gala Sportsman of the Year Germany in Baden -Baden, in the Hofburg at night of sport and in Biathlon - world Cup in Antholz.

2001 First solo album You Came . Presentation of the hymn Going On for the ZDF and ISK gala Sportsman of the Year Germany in the Kurhaus in Baden-Baden . This was followed by appearances at the Kitzbühel Alpine Rally, the full-contact world championship in the Kurhaus Meran .

In 2006 the sound carrier Es Geht Um Mehr, produced in London, was released in collaboration with Oscar Lo Brutto from Audio Post Production.

In 2007 Barbara Zanetti presented the anthem Glory Time for the Biathlon World Championships 2007 as part of the World Cup opening ceremony and later in the ZDF series spring show with Andrea Kiewel . The title Through was included in the ranking of the best songs list.

2012 Presentation of the hymn Stand Up For African Mothers in favor of the international AMREF campaign of the same name as part of the 20th anniversary of AMREF Austria.

2015 Presentation of the hymn showdown for the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga HC Bozen HCB Südtirol - Foxes in der Eiswelle / Palaonda Bozen. The songs A Toal Von Dir and Der Ring from album 74 were included in the list of best songs . The album 74 was nominated in the second preselection, in the longlist 2.2015 of the German Record Critics Award in the Folk / Singer-Songwriter category.

  • 2014: Most Emotional Song 2013 by MMM-Artist-Management and NewcomerRadio Germany with Begins Anew Again .
  • 2019: Awarded the German Rock & Pop Prize in the “Best Song of the Year” category (in English), 2nd place for the song Run for Life .
