The accused is a German television film from 2013. It is a film from the ZDF crime film series Bella Block .

action

The body of the little girl Sophie, who was kidnapped four years ago, is found in a dark hole. Jana Larson, who regularly sedated her child with medication, is now charged. Commissioner Bella Block, who briefly investigated the missing person at the time, is represented by Dr. Mehlhorn summoned as a witness in court. The evidence seems to speak against the girl's mother without exception. Bella Block then targets the rest of the Larson family, especially Jana's son Felix, who had a tense relationship with his mother. In the end, he confesses that out of anger at his mother, he and his girlfriend kidnapped his little sister. When they tried to sedate Sophie with pills, she died.

reception

Rainer Tittelbach found in his review that Accused was one of the weaker consequences of the Bella Block series. "It is a straightforward, quite exciting, unexciting and thematically with many platitudes operating Saturday thriller, which leaves hardly a question unanswered and which demands little from the creature of habit of viewers."
