The University of Cooperative Education for IT and Business in Oldenburg is a state-recognized institution of tertiary education . The IBS IT & Business School Oldenburg e. V. In 2003 the professional academy was founded by the regional economy in cooperation with the Oldenburg research institute OFFIS - Institute for Computer Science . As of 2004, the Oldenburg University of Cooperative Education carried out this course with a degree in business information technology (BA) . The semesters consist of an academy phase of ten and a practical phase of 16 weeks. The bachelor's degree takes a total of seven semesters. In addition to the B. Sc. Business informatics can also be obtained after four semesters by taking an examination at the Oldenburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry :

Business administration
With the beginning of August 2013, the business administration course will be offered for the first time, also as a dual study program. After seven semesters, students can obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration . The course was successfully accredited by FIBAA on April 26, 2012 .

- Trade & E-Commerce
In addition, it is possible for students to obtain a professional qualification from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in addition to their academic degree.
