The Bibliothèque des textes philosophiques ( library of philosophical texts ) is a French philosophical book series with texts from antiquity to the present, which has been published by J. Vrin in Paris since 1931.

Joseph Vrin (1884–1957) was a French bookseller and publisher who specialized in philosophical books. Since its inception, his bookstore, the Librairie philosophique J. Vrin , has been located on the Place de la Sorbonne in the Latin Quarter in Paris . The series of books founded by Henri Gouhier was published until 2014 under the direction of Jean-François Courtine, today by Emmanuel Cattin. With a few exceptions, the series contains works of Western philosophy. The following is an overview of some of the works it contains (in French name forms):
