geography

The wasteland is immediately surrounded by arable land and grassland, which rises to the northwest to a wooded hill ( 456  m above sea level ). The Mäusbach, a right tributary of the Dobrach, flows south of Biegersgut . A community road leads to Rosengrund (1 km to the west) or to Höferänger (0.4 km to the south).

history

The place was first mentioned in 1740 as "Piegersgut". The property was named after the owner's family name.

Towards the end of the 18th century there was an estate in Biegersgut. The high court was exercised by the Bavarian Bailiwick of Kulmbach . The monastery office Kulmbach held the manorial rule over the estate .

From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the justice and chamber office Kulmbach . With the community edict, Biegersgut was assigned to the Oberdornlach tax district formed in 1811 and the rural community of the same name formed in 1812 . As a result of the second community edict (1818), the place was renamed the newly formed rural community Unterdornlach , which was renamed Höferänger in 1955 . On January 1, 1974, Biegersgut was incorporated into Kulmbach as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
