Bojan Vučković ( Serbian - Cyrillic Бојан Вучковић ; born September 12, 1980 in Belgrade ) is a Serbian solver of chess compositions and chess grandmaster .

Life

Vučković won the European chess composition solving championship in 2007 as a team and individually and was vice-European champion in 2008 and European team champion again. He was appointed International Master by the Standing Commission for Chess Composition at FIDE (PCCC) in 2007 and Grand Master for Solving Chess Composition in 2008.

Vučković is also active as a player and has been the grandmaster since 2001 .

National team

Vučković took part in the Chess Olympiads 2000 (for Yugoslavia), 2008 and 2010 (for Serbia) as well as the European Team Championships in 2001 with Yugoslavia and 2009 with Serbia. At the European team in 2009 he achieved the second best individual result on the fourth board.

In the Bosnian Premijer Liga Vučković played in 2007 and 2008 for the ŠK Željezničar Sarajevo , with whom he was Bosnian team champion in 2007 and took part in the European Club Cup , in 2009 for the TŠK Sloboda Tuzla .
