Bryan Joseph Bulaga (* 21st March 1989 in Barrington , Illinois ) is an American American football player in the National Football League (NFL). He plays for the Los Angeles Chargers as an offensive tackle . From 2010 to 2019 Bulaga played for the Green Bay Packers .

college

Bulaga attended the University of Iowa and played for their team, the Hawkeyes, in several positions on the offensive line successfully college football . He was accepted into various selection teams and received several awards.

NFL

Green Bay Packers

Bulaga was selected in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft as the 23rd player by the Green Bay Packers . In his rookie season he was used in all games. Since the fifth game, he ran on as a starter , including in the Super Bowl XLV , which the Packers were able to win against the Pittsburgh Steelers . At 21 years and 322 days, Bulaga was the youngest player to ever appear in a Super Bowl .

In the years that followed, he was an integral part of his team's offensive line, only in 2013 he was out for the entire season due to a torn cruciate ligament .

In 2015, his contract was extended for another 5 years.

In 2017, the season for Bulaga came to an end after five games after a knee injury.

The following two seasons he was used in 24 or in all 16 games.

Los Angeles Chargers

For the 2020 season , Bulaga joined the Los Angeles Chargers , who gave him a three-year contract worth $ 30 million.
