Tramon Vernell Williams (* 16th March 1983 in Houma , Louisiana ) is an American American football poker players in the National Football League (NFL). He plays as cornerback for the Green Bay Packers .

Williams, who showed athletic talent at an early age and was a member of the athletics and basketball teams in high school , attended Louisiana Tech University and played for their team, the Bulldogs, as defensive back college football .

Houston Texans
Williams' professional career started out bumpy. In the 2006 NFL Draft , he was not considered, but was later signed by the Houston Texans as a free agent . He took part in the preparation, but was released in the preseason .
Green Bay Packers
At the end of November 2006 he was hired by the Green Bay Packers for their Practice Squad . In the 2007 season he was used for the first time in the NFL, both in the secondary and in the special teams, where he was even able to achieve a touchdown as a punt returner .
In the following seasons he received more and more playing time and was more often than starter on. The 2010 season was particularly successful, where he was not only called up for his consistently good performance in the Pro Bowl , but also won the Super Bowl XLV with the Packers . On March 16, 2015, Williams signed a three-year contract with the Cleveland Browns for $ 21 million . In his first season with his new team, he managed 69 tackles, 10 pass defenses and one interception . On February 7, 2017, Williams was released by the Browns.
Arizona Cardinals
On July 30, 2017, William was signed by the Arizona Cardinals.
Return to the Packers
