Budzimskie (German Baselerskaten ) is a residential area near Kołobrzeg (Kolberg) in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . It is located in the rural municipality of Kołobrzeg and in Sołectwo Bogusławiec .

Geographical location

The living space is located in Western Pomerania about eleven kilometers southwest of Kołobrzeg (Kolberg) on Woiwodschaftsstraße 102 (DW 102), the course of which here corresponds to the former Reichsstraße 161 .

Neighboring towns are in the northeast on the voivodship street Błotnica (Spie) , in the southwest on the voivodship street Bogusławiec (Charlottenhof) and in the southeast Niemierze (takers) .

history

Roughly at the place where the later living space was located, there was a jug that was broken off during the Seven Years' War around 1760 as part of a siege of the city of Kolberg by Russian troops.

Today's living space is one of the demolitions that were built in the 19th century in the field of the village of Spie . Baselerskaten was the only one of these demolitions to be run as a separate living space. The place name, also spelled Baseler Katen in the 19th century, is derived from the name of a previous owner. Before 1945, Baselerskaten was part of the municipality of Spie in the Kolberg-Körlin district of the Pomeranian province .

After the Second World War , the place came to Poland like all of Western Pomerania and was given the Polish name Budzimskie .
