The Gmina Kołobrzeg is a rural community ( Polish gmina wiejska) in the powiat Kołobrzeski in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship .
It covers an area of 145 km² and has 10,968 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2019). The city of Kołobrzeg ( German Kolberg) itself does not belong to the Gmina, but forms its own municipality.
geography
The rural municipality is located southwest of the municipality of Kołobrzeg . South of the municipality is Siemyśl , southeast Gościno and east Dygowo and Ustronie Morskie .

The Kamper See (Polish: Jezioro Resko Przymorskie ), which is a popular recreational and fishing center, is located in the area of the Kołobrzeg municipality .
