Kirnberg Castle

The castle Kirnberg is an Outbound medieval motte (Moth) on Wild Hofener Bach 260 meters east to east-southeast of the church in Kirnberg , a modern district of the municipality Gebsattel in Ansbach in Bavaria .

The presumably high medieval square complex with a rectangular wall and moat was the seat of the Lords of Kirnberg. The castle was destroyed at the beginning of the 15th century. In 1920 the tower hill was almost completely excavated.
