The castle Altentrüdingen is an Outbound medieval castle instead of the local Church in Altentrüdingen , a district of Wassertrüdingen in Ansbach in Bavaria .

The castle, mentioned in the 13th century, was the seat of the noble free von Truhendingen . The Counts of Öttingen – Wallerstein are also named as later owners .

The castle site is now overbuilt by the Margrave Church (Evangelical Lutheran parish church) built by the Wassertrüdingen master builder Johann David Steingruber in 1773 using medieval components from a previous church.
