The castle Lohr is an Outbound medieval lowland castle in Lohr , a modern district of the municipality Insingen in Ansbach in Bavaria .
The castle site is about 370 meters southeast to east-southeast of the church in Lohr im Lohrbachtal , north on the road to Bockenfeld .
From the castle complex, which was destroyed along with the village in 1381, a residence of the Lords of Lohr, remains of moats are still preserved.
