The Richen Castle is an abandoned castle near the current district of Richen in the city of Eppingen in the Heilbronn district in Baden-Württemberg .

The castle, whose former location is not known, was probably built around 1200 to 1300 by the Lords of Richen, whose local nobility is documented from 1240 to the 14th century. A castle was found in 1335 and mentioned in 1350.

Hans von Hohenhardt and Dieter von Gemmingen are named as later owners .

Nothing has been preserved from the former castle complex, which can no longer be located.
