New Michelbach Castle

The Neue Schlösschen in Michelbach am Heuchelberg , a district of Zaberfeld in the Heilbronn district in northern Baden-Württemberg , is a stately building from the early Baroque period .

The small castle in Michelbach was built in 1709 on the foundations of an older building under Johann Bernhard von Sternenfels . The portal of the building on the south side of the eaves shows the year of construction and the coat of arms of the Lords of Sternenfels. A walled-in cellar door from 1596 on the western gable side still bears witness to the previous building. The stone grimaces on the building edges are striking . The building was sold to private by the tenants in 1771 and served as a restaurant until 2012.

There is also a storage building from 1559 and a tithe barn nearby .
