Burong Pingai Ayer ( Malay Mukim Burong Pingai Ayer ) is a Mukim ( sub- district) of the Daerah Brunei-Muara in Brunei . He is one of the six mukim of the Kampong Ayer (water town). All of these mukim are very small in area and are located directly on the water; they belong to the central part of the capital Bandar Seri Begawan along the Sungai Brunei . The Sungai Damuan divides the Mukim again into a western and an eastern area. Burong Pingai Ayer borders the four other mukim of the water city: Tamoi , Sungai Kedayan in the north and Peramu and Kebun in the east. To the north, the Jalan Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha road forms a border and otherwise the Mukim is enclosed by the Mukim Lumapas (south) and Mukim Kianggeh (west). The Damuan Recreational Park stretches along the north bank of the Sungai Damuan .
