The 2009-10 season was the Central Hockey League's 18th regular season . The 15 teams completed 64 games each in the regular season . The Central Hockey League was played in two conferences . The team with the highest points in the regular season were the Odessa Jackalopes , while the Rapid City Rush won the Ray Miron President's Cup for the first time in the play-offs .
Team changes
The following changes were made before the start of the season:
- The New Mexico Scorpions stopped the game.
- The Oklahoma City Blazers stopped gaming.
- The Rocky Mountain Rage stopped the game.
- The Allen Americans were added to the league as an expansion team.
- The Missouri Mavericks were added to the league as an expansion team.
