Cesio (in Ligurian : Césiu ) is a northern Italian municipality with 267 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Liguria region . Politically it belongs to the province of Imperia .

geography

Cesio is located on the left bank of the Rio Tresenda , five kilometers from the Colle San Bartolomeo pass . Through the site, the ancient road of runs Colle di Nava . The municipality belongs to the Comunità Montana dell'Olivo and is about 19 kilometers from the provincial capital Imperia .
