Villa Faraldi (in Ligurian : Vìlla Faródi ) is a northern Italian municipality with 460 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Liguria region . Politically, it is in the province of Imperia . It consists of the districts ( called frazioni in Italian ) Deglio Faraldi , Riva Faraldi , Tovetto , Tovo Faraldi and the main town Villa Faraldi as well as many other small hamlets.

Villa Faraldi is located in the upper part of the valley, which is traversed by the river Cervo (also called Steria ). The river separates the province of Imperia from the province of Savona . The municipality belongs to the Comunità Montana dell'Olivo and is about 17 kilometers from the provincial capital Imperia . The territory of Villa Faraldi is largely mountainous. The highest point in the ground is the Pizzo d'Evigno with a height of 989 meters; other mountains in the area are the Monte Lago (744 meters), the Pizzo Penna (747 meters) and the Pizzo Aguzzo (757 meters).

According to the Italian classification for seismic activity , the municipality was assigned to zone 3. This means that Villa Faraldi is located in a seismically inactive zone.
