Charles Liedts

Charles Liedts (born December 1, 1802 in Oudenaarde , † March 21, 1878 in Brussels ) was a Belgian politician .

Liedts was one of the four secretaries of the National Congress in 1830, a member of the Chamber of Deputies since 1831 and its President since 1843. From August 16, 1840 to April 13, 1841 Liedts was Minister of the Interior, then civil governor of the county of Hainaut , 1845-1852 and 1855-1860 governor of Brabant . From September 17, 1852 to March 10, 1855, Charles Liedt was Treasury Secretary.
