Alphonse Nothomb
Alphonse Jean Pierre Dominique Nothomb (born July 12, 1817 in Pétange , † May 14, 1898 ibid) was a Belgian politician.
Alphonse Nothomb, brother of Prime Minister Jean-Baptiste Nothomb , was General Procurator at the Appellhof in Brussels from 1853 to 1855 and Minister of Justice from March 30, 1855 to November 9, 1857, as which he strictly represented the Catholic Party . During a cabinet reshuffle, he briefly took over the interior department in 1856. He was a member of parliament from 1851 and 1859–1894, and a senator from 1894–1898 .
