Concord is a census-designated place in Essex County of the state of Vermont in the United States . In the 2010 census, there were 271 people in the CDP Concord. The CDP Concord comprises the main settlement area in the Town Concord . It is part of the Berlin Micropolitan Statistical Area .

history

As a settlement area for the Town Concord, the Grant for Concord of November 7, 1780, which was granted by the Vermont Republic to Dr. Reuben Jones from Rockingham, Vermont and others was awarded, including today's CDP with the Village on the Connecticut River. The settlement of the town started in 1788. The Concord CDP is located in the western part of the town on the Moose Rivers . This flows westward at St. Johnsbury into the Passumpsic River . The US Highway 2 runs through the area, parallel to the Moose River and runs from St. Johnsbury in the west to Lancaster in the east.
