Dennis Patrick
Dennis Patrick (born March 14, 1918 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania as Dennis Patrick Harrison , † October 13, 2002 in Hollywood , California ) was an American actor.
Career
Dennis Patrick made his acting debut in 1949. A few films followed, but numerous appearances in series and television films. The actor became known in Germany in the series Dallas , where he played JR's business partner Vaughn Leland from 1979 to 1984. In 1994 he retired into private life after more than 160 film and television productions.
Until 1954 he was known under the name Dennis Harrison.
Private
Dennis Patrick's first marriage was to Amelia Baines. The couple had two children together. From 1970 until her death in 1990, Patrick was married to actress Barbara Cason .
Dennis Patrick died in a house fire in 2002.
